Mark Shepard es un diseñador de permacultura, agroforestal y consultor de agricultura ecológica con sede en Wisconsin. Él y su familia han transformado una típica granja lechera de 140 acres de cultivos en hileras en un ecosistema agrícola perenne basado en la permacultura utilizando sabanas de robles, matorrales sucesivos y bosques orientales como modelos ecológicos.
