(Cosmos bipinnatus) This cosmos variety produces beautiful 1½ to 2 inch blooms in shades of pink, red, and white, many with streaked petals. Plants grow 4 to 5 feet tall and are excellent for cut flower arrangements, adding a delicate and colorful touch to bouquets.

How to Grow:
Annual. Germination: 14 days at 70°F. Prefers full sun but tolerates partial shade, poor soils, and drought once established. For earlier blooms, sow indoors 4–6 weeks before the last frost, or direct sow outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Plant 1/4 inch deep and thin to 12–14 inches apart. Deadhead to prolong blooming. Seed heads will attract birds.
