Showtime Willow 'Caprea x Cinerea S365'

The Showtime Willow, known scientifically as Salix x '365' Showtime, is a dynamic and highly ornamental willow variety. It stands out in the early spring with an abundance of catkins, making it a prominent and prolific producer for cut flower arrangements. Developed at the University of Toronto, this willow is known for its very upright stems and remarkable catkin production, which burst into masses of yellow flowers in late spring.  This fast-growing hybrid reaches around 12 feet in height and 5 feet in width, making it suitable for streambank restoration, riparian buffers, and privacy hedges, and it's beloved by both pollinators and humans.

After you soak your cuttings, Choose a sunny to partially shaded location with moist, well-drained soil for planting. Plant the cuttings deep enough, with about two-thirds of their length underground, to ensure stability and adequate root formation.
