INSTRUCTIONS: When using Gem Size Lids with tall vintage rings designed for glass lids, you MUST use the glass lid with the metal lid. This is because the tall bands may not tighten down the lids all the way due to the height of the band. Simply take the metal lid, set it on the jar, take the glass lid and flip it upside down and then tighten it with the tall ring.
