DESCRIPTION

(Cucurbita moschata) This vigorous, disease-resistant variety produces bell-shaped, buff-colored fruits about 6 inches in diameter with firm, deep-orange flesh that is sweeter than Butternut. Known for its exceptional storage life, the fruits can keep for up to 1 year at room temperature. It’s resistant to vine borers and shows excellent tolerance to Downy Mildew, making it a great option for hot, humid, and disease-prone climates. Harvest young for use as a summer squash, or allow to mature for long-term storage. Give the sprawling vines plenty of water and space to thrive.
