Cultivation Tips
• Soil requirements: Plant in well-drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter. Incorporate compost before planting and avoid low areas where water may pool.
• Sunlight: Full sun (6–8+ hours daily) for best fruit size and sweetness.
• Planting depth: Set plants so the crown sits just above the soil surface—not buried and not exposed.
• Spacing: About 12 inches apart (up to 18 inches for improved airflow and larger berries).
• Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture (about 1–2 inches per week, especially during fruiting). Mulching helps conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
• Fertilization: Regular feeding supports continuous flowering and fruit production.
• First-year care: Removing early flowers can help plants establish stronger roots, though Seascape will often still produce later in the season.
• Harvesting: Pick berries when fully red and fragrant. Harvest regularly to encourage continued production.
• Landscape use: Excellent for garden beds, borders, containers, ground cover, and edible landscapes.
