Cultivation Tips

• Soil requirements: Strawberries prefer well-drained, fertile soil with plenty of organic matter and a slightly acidic pH (around 5.5–6.8).
• Sunlight: Plant in full sun for the best yields—at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight per day.
• Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, especially during flowering and fruit development.
• Harvesting: Pick berries when they are fully red and ripe, ideally in the morning when they are cool. Regular harvesting encourages continued production.
• Overwintering: Cover with row covers or mulch with straw to protect plants from freeze damage.
• Pro tip: Remove the blossoms in the first spring after planting to help plants establish strong roots. The plants will produce a full harvest in their second spring.
