This spice (seasoning) pepper, originally from Hungary, is renowned for its excellent color and sweet, spicy flavor. The 3-foot plants produce an abundance of 1½ x 4½-inch peppers that are ideal for drying. Despite some susceptibility to sunscald and blossom-end rot, this variety produces fruits with sweet, very dry flesh perfect for grinding into a superb paprika seasoning.
