🌱Start indoors 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. Peppers need warm soil (65°F+) to thrive — don’t rush transplanting. Use a heat mat for faster, more even germination.

☀️Plant in full sun and warm, well-drained soil. California Wonder’s upright habit keeps fruit off the ground — stake plants in windy areas to prevent stem breakage under heavy fruit loads.

💧Water deeply and consistently — about 1 to 2" per week. Avoid overhead watering to reduce disease risk. A calcium-rich fertilizer helps prevent blossom end rot.

🍽️Harvest green at 65 days for crisp, slightly bitter flavor, or wait for full red ripeness for maximum sweetness. Stuff and bake, slice raw into salads, roast, or freeze in strips for year-round use.
