Growing tips

🌱Direct sow or transplant in early spring or late summer. Kale is one of the most cold-tolerant vegetables — it can survive temperatures well below freezing and tastes better for it.

✂️Harvest outer leaves first, working from the bottom up, to keep the plant producing. For baby greens, harvest at 30 days. For full-size leaves, wait 50 to 55 days.

💧Water consistently and fertilize with nitrogen every 3 to 4 weeks for lush, productive growth. Kale is a heavy feeder and rewards regular attention with abundant harvests.
